Collect customer feedback from Teams chat

What is Teams chat?

Teams chat lets you communicate and collaborate with your team in real-time through text, voice, and video.

Why should you connect Teams chat to Cycle: Key benefits

For product teams:

  1. Easily capture feedback from a centralized #feedback channel or group chat in Teams chat.
  2. Automatically let stakeholders know that their feedback is valued & considered.
  3. Capture entire threads as feedback, media files included.

For sales & CS teams:

  1. Simply dump feedback in Teams chat, no change to your current workflow.
  2. Get automatic status updates from the product team when they release something related to your feedback.

How the Teams chat integration works

When a team member uses a specific command or reaction in Teams chat, feedback is sent directly to Cycle. You can capture entire threads or specific messages. Screenhots and files are captured too. CS & sales team can submit feedback on behalf of customers.

Stakeholders will get notified when there's been a product update related to their feedback so they can close the loop with relevant customers.

Quick setup

  1. Create an API Key: In Teams chat, go to your settings and generate a new API key.
  2. Set Up Webhooks: In Teams chat, create a new webhook to trigger on ticket creation with specific properties.
  3. Configure in Cycle: In Cycle, go to Integrations, select Teams chat, and enter your Teams chat API key and webhook URL.
  4. Test & Activate: Test the integration to ensure it's working correctly, then activate it.
