A Platform Product Manager is responsible for developing and managing a product platform that serves as the foundation for multiple products or services. Just like a construction project manager oversees the development of a building's foundation, a Platform Product Manager focuses on creating a robust and scalable platform that enables the development of various products on top of it. They work closely with cross-functional teams to define the features and functionalities of the platform, prioritize tasks, and ensure seamless integration with other products. Essentially, they are the architects and project managers of the product's underlying infrastructure.
